I am a Bagpiper and Pipe Major of the St. Andrew's Pipe Band of Cheltenham.

I teach Bagpipes at various colleges in Gloucestershire.

I am also a solo Bagpiper and have played with the Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra,The Concertarte Choir and Orchestra of Cheltenham and the London Gala Symphony Orchestra.

I have appeared as a film extra in 'Vanity Fair' and as a Bagpiper in a wedding scene in the film 'Made of Honor' in cinemas now.

I give talks with slides on the History of the Pipes, Tartans and Highland Dress, the Whiskey Trail, Robert Burns and others (see the Lecturtes page of this website for more) to the W.I., Probus Groups and Towns Women's Guilds in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Wiltshire, Avon, Oxfordshire and Gwent.

I play a set of Lowland Bagpipes accompanied by my daughter on the Clarsach (a Scottish Folk Harp that is smaller than the Classical Harp) in a band called Fyon-ion - a combination of our names 'Fiona' and 'Iain' (see the link to the right for more about Fyon-ion).

I can appear in a variety of traditional costumes to match most occasions and you can see the options available by visiting the 'Costumes' page of this website by clicking on the menu bar above or the list below.
